I am angry there is no action taken and he (Palanivel) cannot keep playing hide and seek. I can only remind of what needs to be done… there are limits for a party member to be patient over this.

Another ‘dirty’ word is ‘fundamental Muslims’. They make it sound like fundamental Islam is extreme Islam. Fundamental just means basic, primary or original. Hence fundamental Muslims just mean Muslims who have not deviated from the original teachings of Islam and follow it to the letter. So why is fundamental Islam a dirty word? Why is that term used as a negative label? And why is ‘fundamental’ used to describe extreme Muslims or terrorism? You have only two types of Muslims — those who follow the true teachings of Islam and those who deviate from the true teachings of Islam. Why should Muslims who follow the teachings of Islam be labelled extreme?

Zahid’s letter to FBI
It would have been better if it did not involve the minister. Even the police do not need to write the letter. It would have been more suitable for the letter to be written by a lawyer who does not necessarily have to represent the minister as it is merely a request by Phua's lawyers.
Abdul Rahim Noor, former inspector-general of police Khalid Abu Bakar, insisting that Home Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi should not have written to the FBI, even if just to clarify the status of Phua, a Malaysian facing criminal proceedings in the United States
