PM’s family wealth

Because there exists a lot of doubt about the source of this wealth, we lodged today's police report against Najib and his family on the basis of their extraordinary wealth.

Mohd Nasaie Ismail, PAS Youth information chief, urging the police to open investigation papers on the PM's family's wealth

PAS president post

Can it be challenged? Yes.

Tuan Guru Abdul Hadi Awang, PAS President, stressing that the party president post can be challenged

Water deal

I urge all the parties involved not to hesitate to start an open investigation towards all allegations of corruption and misappropriation  (in the buy over of the concessionaires). The people of Selangor must not be forced to pay more than the overall price tag of RM9.65 billion which has been agreed on.

Khalid Ibrahim, former Selangor MB, calling for the state's authorities to investigate allegations of corruption in its water restructuring deal with the federal government

Tuan Ibrahim’s decision

I will look into it...I will perform istikharah prayers (prayers for Allah's guidance whether he should contest or not).

Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, PAS vice president, on whether he would contest the party deputy president post if nominated

National debts

The federal government’s debt levels continues to be manageable and Malaysia is categorised as a country with moderate debt.

Finance Ministry, announcing that the external debt at the end of 2013 is RM696.6 billion while at the end 2014, it is RM744.7 billion – a modest rise of 6.9%

So under the proposed amendment, this will no longer be the case. Non-Muslims will not be given the option of hudud. They will only be subject to civil law.

Hatta Ramli, Kuala Krai MP, explaining that non-Muslims will only be tried under civil law, and not hudud, in PAS’ proposed amendments to its Kelantan Shariah bill

But for DAP, we are still against these amendments, and our stand remains that the implementation of hudud is impractical and against Pakatan’s common policy framework.

Gobind Singh Deo, Puchong MP
