The government has set up a task force. We are looking at it entirely including 1MDB's debts.

Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah, Second Finance Minister

How 1MDB settled its RM2 billion debt last month?

Tanjong arranged from private investors to come up with the RM2 billion, with the principal to be paid in 15 months, with the interest to be paid in six months. There is no exchange risk. The loan is given by private investors, it is not from Tanjong.

Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah, Second Finance Minister, claiming tycoon T. Ananda Krishan's Tanjong Energy Holdings had arranged for help to pay off the debt for 1MDB

The Islamic penal code which includes hudud, qisas and ta’zir is the law of Allah - the God who created Nazri and gave him his soul, his body and his daily sustenance. Allah talked about His law in the Quran. So is Allah stupid according to Nazri? Ridiculing Allah’s law is ridiculing Allah. Such acts is blasphemy and can lead to apostasy.

Mohd Khairuddin Aman Razali, PAS Dewan Ulama information chief, insisting Tourism and Culture Minister Nazri Abdul Aziz had revealed his own “stupidity” when he said onnly “stupid people” discuss the hudud

The prime minister has mentioned before that it concerns implementation. Tunggulah (wait for the statement).

Wan Saiful Wan Jan, Institute for Democracy and Economic Affairs (Ideas) chief

PAS urges DAP to retract all the wild allegations made. There is no purpose of Pakatan Rakyat cooperation if DAP remains arrogant and is not willing to withdraw the extremely wild allegations against Hadi.

Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, PAS vice president

We have to continue with the concept of “agreeing to disagree” in Pakatan with regards to Islamic criminal law and the Dewan Ulama wholeheartedly supports Hadi as our party president.
