Dr M’s attacks continue

I know I am alone. But I feel responsible to the people, is that wrong? When the people's money goes missing and is hidden from them, is it wrong for me to ask? Where is the money for 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB)? This is still unanswered.

Dr Mahathir Mohamad, stating he is aware that he is alone in his attacks against Prime Minister Najib Razak

Rompin by-election

State PAS will decide as soon as possible after we have received the list of candidates.

Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, PAS’ Rompin by-election committee director, announcing that the party would reveal its candidate for the Rompin parliamentary by-election on April 20

If PAS does not contest for the same reason...out of respect for JJ (Jamaluddin Jarjis) as a senior leader, it will be a nice gesture (by them). We (will) save money, time and energy for both parties. We wait for the next general election.

Adnan Yaakob, Pahang Menteri Besar

Umno Youth’s support to Najib

The Umno youth under my leadership will stay committed and give undivided support to the party president and the party leadership in the efforts to strengthen every layer in the party.

Khairy Jamaluddin, Umno Youth chief, declaring the wing’s univocal support for its president Najib Razak

The Altantuya murder

I was only asking who gave the order to (former police commando) Sirul Azhar Umar. Usually, the police or army do not shoot dead people unless they are attacked or instructed to do so. This is a human life. If (Sirul) is wrong, kill Sirul. But if he was doing his duty and following orders, then it is not fair for Sirul to be killed.

Dr Mahathir Mohamad, reiterating that he was not accusing Najib of having a hand in the murder of Altantuya Shaariibuu

Permatang Pauh by-election

We will help whoever is nominated (from Pakatan Rakyat).

Mohamad Sabu, PAS deputy president

Kedah Umno

It is his responsibility as menteri besar to ensure that Kedah is not split.

Hishamuddin Hussein, Umno vice president, reminding Kedah Menteri Besar Mukhriz Mahathir of its responsibility to ensure stability within the state Umno
