Beware of your wife’s behaviour

In certain countries, the behaviour of a woman carrying the title of 'first lady' can destroy the careers and political future of a world leader.

Najib and Rosmah’s lifestyle

There are many things about his (Najib's) personal behaviour that I thought were not right. But I was prepared to overlook them, including his and his wife's lavish lifestyles.

Church protest

Khalid was just asking. He calls me 'Lang'. He asked, 'Lang, apa cerita? (what is the story)' and I explained. After listening to the explanation, he (Khalid) replied 'okay’. I had no bad intention. I was there to calm the situation and I was the middleman.

Abdullah Abu Bakar, Inspector General of Police’s elder brother, clarifying hat the protest demanding the removal of a cross from a church building has nothing to do with him

We don't see any form of sedition because it did not touch religion, it did not touch the Christian faith. The local residents were protesting against the location of the church. You must be careful in this aspect. Don't link this to something that involves the Christian faith.

Khalid Abu Bakar, Inspector-General of Police, insisting that the protest calling for the removal of a cross from a church building did not breach the Sedition Act 1948

Of course! Yes, yes, yes! I am very colour-blind. The police are very colour blind. Action has to be taken or will be taken against them.

Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Home Minister, opining that the protest against a church to be seditious

So long as their rituals and the display of religious symbols like the cross do not attain to a size that is disturbing to Muslims, Christians are allowed the liberty to do so.

Mujahid Yusof Rawa, Parit Buntar MP
