Pakatan Rakyat

In light of this, the political coalition that is Pakatan Rakyat no longer functions formally. Even so, we are thankful to Allah for the spirit and cooperation of Pakatan Rakyat in Selangor under the leadership of Menteri Besar Azmin Ali and in the leadership of the Penang Chief Minister, Lim Guan Eng continues. In the same spirit, and based on the Pakatan Rakyat Common Policy Framework, PKR will continue to give support to Menteri Besar of Kelantan Datuk Ahmad Yaakob.

Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, PKR president, declaring that Pakatan Rakyat is over

Sit down and discuss things cordially, with respect for one another, and I believe we can all do what is good for the rakyat and the country.

Azmin Ali, Selangor Menteri Besar

The DAP was the cause of the problem from the start. They severed ties with PAS in Sarawak, then in Sabah, and later with the PAS president (Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang).

Ahmad Yakob, Kelantan Menteri Besar, insisting that DAP was the source to Pakatan Rakyat’s problem

Ahmad Maslan, Deputy Finance Minister, clarifying his statement that the Ringgit slump is caused by former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad’s attacks on the government

Fair hearing please

Notwithstanding the various public statements on 1MDB from Pua, I have every confidence that the honourable members of the committee will allow me a fair opportunity to explain 1MDB's position, to a lawful authority, per the requirements of due process.

Arul Kanda, 1MDB president, reminding DAP lawmaker Tony Pua he is a member of the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) which will hear the testimonies of 1MDB top officials

Bumiputera as majority

This does not mean they are racist. On the contrary, it is a demand for equal opportunities in a more inclusive economy.

Muhyiddin Yassin, Deputy Prime Minister, insisting that bumiputera should not be labelled as racists just for demanding their rights

Kinabatangan versus Ampang

I forgive her, but I will never forget what she did.
