Justo’s arrest

Maybe because he is a terrorist, that's why he was arrested by Thailand. If he was only stealing company secret, he won't have to be arrested. This man came to Thailand obviously as a tourist unless Saudi Arabia request Thailand to arrest him, I don't see why Thailand should arrest him.

Dr Mahathir Mohamad, claiming the arrest of former PetroSaudi International Ltd director, Swiss national Xavier Andrea Justo, in Thailand two days ago was highly suspicious, akin to a high level conspiracy

Sarawak Report has been saying all kind of things which (the government) can sue (them for) and The Edge has been saying things (as well), daring the government to sue them. So why dont they sue?

Dr Mahathir Mohamad, questioning why Putrajaya have yet to sue whistleblower website Sarawak Reportand The Edge Media Group had their reports on the 1MDB controversy been inaccurate

MIC fiasco

Dr Subramaniam... acting president? How can he be the acting president when I am the president?

G Palanivel, MIC president, dismissing his rivals' claim that the Registrar of Societies (ROS) no longer recognises him as a party member

PAC and Tony Pua

Pua as a PAC member issues too many statements that can affect the probe towards the company. As such I propose that he steps down from the PAC to restore public confidence, that the 1MDB inquiry is fair and transparent.

Shafee Abdullah, Umno-linked lawyer, calling for Petaling Jaya Utara MP Tony Pua’s resignation from Public Accounts Committee (PAC) to ensure investigation into 1MDB was fair

He (Shafee) doesn't have the right to tell off PAC members who are members of the legislature, the third branch of the government and elected by the people.

Nur Jazlan, PAC chief

Today they say Tony Pua is biased. The rest (of the PAC) all support Umno. So they are biased too. (Therefore), it is better to scrap PAC and we (Umno) will stand until the next election.

Dr Mahathir Mohamad

PAS’ strength

As long as we defend the strength of PAS, as long as we remain firm with Islamic policies and principles, we will remain strong.

Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, PAS deputy president
