Muhyiddin’s fate

I am 100% certain there will be no sacking of any senior Umno leaders tomorrow.

Kevin Morais

His case is still classified as missing person and I urge the parties concerned against speculating on the case, as this can affect police's investigations. The police will investigate the case from every angle and treat it seriously until Morais is found.

Nazir Razak’s view on 1MDB

Respected, honest, professional appointed by the Govt and welcomed by the Chairman with fanfare. But denied access to information by management. If this is true and tolerated, what message does it send to other GLC’s/agencies?

Nazir Razak, CIMB Group chairman, on the resignation of 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) adviser Dr Abdul Samad Alias

1MDB would most definitely have been able to share these with Tan Sri Samad had such a request been made, or indeed repeatedly made, as claimed by Tan Sri Samad. Tan Sri Samad has the contact details of various 1MDB Board members, including the mobile phone number of Arul Kanda. However, 1MDB did not receive any ‘repeated requests’ for information as claimed by Tan Sri Samad.

1Malaysia Development Bhd, clarifying that it is reaching out to Dr Abdul Samad Alias

I would like to thank 1MDB for kindly responding to my comment and question. We now have a fuller view of 1MDB's version of what transpired to compare with what Tan Sri Samad Alias said yesterday.

PKR’s stand

That is his view and it is up to the DAP. What I have stated previously was not my stand but PKR's. It's not my personal stand or Wan Azizah's. We have discussed it thoroughly and have included the view of PKR de facto leader Anwar Ibrahim. Anwar stated that PKR should always be inclusive.

Azmin Ali, PKR deputy president, insisting that PAS should be in the new opposition coalition

Emergency parliament sitting

Other members of Parliament from both sides of the divide do not have the right to table a motion for an emergency sitting. The right to call for an emergency meeting before the scheduled sitting is only vested with the Prime Minister. He is the only one who can write to the Speaker to request for an important matter that the government would like to discuss and I will arrange the sitting.

No other person can do it.
