Najib, stop dreaming

The statement by Umno president Datuk Seri Najib Razak at a time of internal conflict is just an effort to divert from the real issues plaguing the prime minister. So will PAS trust them at a time when Umno is feeling the pressure and needs us? PAS will not be their saviour.

Tuan Ibrahim Tuan Man, PAS deputy president, responding to a statement by Umno president Datuk Seri Najib Razak, who said he was encouraged with PAS’s gestures of support towards Umno

Too many sins have been committed by Umno towards PAS and it is impossible for the grassroots to forgive Umno.

Returning fire on Muhyiddin

At the end, (he) demanded my president to quit [...] he asked that the prime minister resign. That's crazy. I didn't know their intention is, maybe it's gila kuasa (power crazy).

Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor, Umno secretary general, calling his deputy president ‘power crazy’ for demanding party president Najib Razak to quit

If we still want to support someone who has crossed the line, then wait for the moment when a leadership decay sets in, and this will pose difficulties to the organisation.

Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, Umno vice president, saying the party will take action against Muhyiddin Yassin if the party deputy president is found to have crossed the line in his political programmes

It is a big disappointment (with him not showing up tonight). There was an empty chair, what a waste. We were waiting for him.

Abdul Rahman Dahlan, Umno supreme council member, on Muhyiddin’s absence at the party presidential briefing yesterday

Not much can be done in two terms; it is merely six years. For me it is too short.

Khairy Jamaluddin, Umno Youth chief, disagreeing with Muhyiddin’s suggestion to limit party president’s term to two

RM2.6 billion

Firstly, the RM2.6 billion is neither public funds nor 1MDB’s money. This was confirmed by the MACC. It’s a donation, a gift. A donation is not illegal under any legal provision.
