Automatic voters’ registration

It should be noted that this amendment requires the support of two-thirds votes in Parliament and can only be achieved if all parties agreed to it. Moreover, if the system is implemented it will also affect revision, demands and protest against the Electoral Roll.

The EC is an independent body set up under the Federal Constitution to register voters and conduct elections. The EC could have drafted laws and presented it to a minister to be tabled in Parliament but he now gives excuses just before retirement.

PTPTN and civil servant salaries

There are civil servants whose pay slip is left with only RM19, what will they eat then? Cuepacs would also like to remind that we will not hesitate to withdraw the decision to allow civil servants to have their salaries cut to pay PTPTN.
