 TPPA

We hope that everyone, the National Fatwa Council must make a statement opposing TPPA. The National Fatwa Council cannot remain silent and only speak out on food and drink issues.

We have done many things for the long term interest of the country. For example, the construction of Putrajaya, the Petronas Twin Towers and the Penang Bridge. There were many objections in the beginning to all of these, but in the end, the people understood.

PKR-DAP war in Sarawak

Are we to wait in our comfort zones for PKR to start really going to the rural areas to bring political awareness? It would be irresponsible for us to wait.Chong Chieng Jen, Sarawak DAP chairman, stressing that the party is in competition with PKR

I feel that the statement he made was uncalled for because as Sarawak DAP secretary, Ling should have raised the issue at the Pakatan Harapan secretariat. Ling also congratulated PKR over the officiating of its Senadin operations centre, saying it will strengthen DAP when the party contests there. This is confusing and belittles PKR's efforts in Senadin all this while.

Lee Chean Chung, PKR Senadin election director, telling off Sarawak DAP secretary Alan Ling for purportedly giving the impression that the party's machinery in Senadin exists only to assist DAP
